When your family hurts

Like the majority of people who have a family, we all have our ups and downs.

We can argue, get cross with one another, laugh and cry together and just generally get along. I do all of these things, but the one thing which I struggle with is the feeling of hopelessness when you see one of your siblings struggle to come to terms with something that has happened and they are just very sad and depressed.

I won't go into the details but suffice to say, my little girl, who's not so little now and has two beautiful boys of her own is sad and not in a good place.

I wish as a father I had some sort of magic powers and their pain and hurt would go away and never surface again, however, I haven't got that magic powers, and all my wife and I can do are be there for big hugs and to continually show our love and support.

I remember seeing something online not so long ago and had a look to see if I could find it, which I did. Please see below.

I truly believe that 12 daily reminders.

So for everybody out there hold the people you love with all your might and tell them you love them.
